During high school I was very active at the Animal Rescue League and loved volunteering on my free time. When I first started college, I was going to go to veterinary school. After a year I decided that it was not for me, but I still wanted to give back to the animals that needed it. I had stopped volunteering my time due to being so far from the location and COVID-19.  I recently decided I wanted to find a new way to give back. I have been taking on some new projects so I could still give back.

I wanted to continue giving back because at home I have four adopted shelter animals. My family adopted our first, Roxy,  in 2019 from the ARL. THen came Moose (2020), Nico (2021) and my own cat Olive in 2022.
